Jake,
What type of your new heads do you suggest for a close to stock 2.0 type 4 that will allow a good combo of power and economy yet allow me some leeway to do some upgrades for power? I am looking for longevity yet have enough go to keep from harms way here in Houston?

I need to know the exact specs of the engine you plan...

its a stock 914 2.0 liter type 4. I am using dual carbs, stock cam. At most I am looking for modest upgrades such as 96 jugs, stock stroke to make a 2056. If I crack the case, I would probably go a little wilder but all I want is 100-125 hp max...I want durability and drivability and since my car is only 1450 lbs, that should do pretty well.
When I checked your site, it leads me to believe that the LE 180 would be the choice, is that currect?

The LE 180 would be fine, but if you do not wish to spend that much $$$ the 7424 would also be adequate as long as you do not desire the relocated plugs.

I have made 130 reliable HP with a set of 7424 heads and 9:1 CR on a 2056 engine- cam is the key!

which one of your cams do you recommend? Good drivability is a must. I want to drive some extended mileage on the rare occassions that I get some time off. Who knows..I may want to make a trip to the land of torque and horsepower...Columbus Georgia!

I think you have missed Jake as he is off on his European trip til July 17. You may not get a reply til then. Read Jake's Post about these dates in this forum.
