VW factory new type 4 Case

I have found a new case to use for my build just a question about cylinders, I know there are differences in cylinders are these at the case end or the head end? Will a new case need any machining to fit 96mm cylinders made from stock cylinders?

No, the new case will not need machining. All cases have the same size registers from tha factory and until you get to a 100mm bore the case does not need machining

Thought so £350 +vat + delivery less than £440 for a new case! a bit over $750 considering by the time i get things fron the states with delivery and import tax i usually end up paying roughly £1 per $1 i think thats a good deal!Still need to find the cylinders though!

Have someone fill it with cheese and say it's just really sturdy packaging.
