That would depend on the gear ratios in the tranny and the highest RPM that you would feel comfortable turning the engine.

I don't know! You dint tell us which tranny you GOTS!

its a super beetle 73 tranny but on a manx

Yea, you're gonna have to put a gland nut bearing in the flywheel
of the Type 4 engine.

I figure you can get 100 MPH out of it, easily.

den wut i have to do to at least get it to 120 mph...100 is to slow i think...i sealed da front end so the manx doesnt get air in dat helps top speed rite??da type 4 i have has like 85 hp how much would i need to get it to at leat 120 mph?????????

I wouldn't drive a Manx at over 100......

IF you are running 28-29 inch tall tires, 85 hp might just get you there.

well its not exactly a manxx its based on a manx chassis but i designed it and it has pretty big rims...its also hardtop and closed with a tubular chassis so its light but not super light i figure like 1300 pounds without driver ...i just want it to run as good as it looks....but i was thinkin bout a turbo, wut is a good turbo for da car and da max psi i can put??oh and thanks for ur help...
