Anyone else (other than Jake) off to Le Mans?

Post by shambly »

I'm off to the Classic in a few days and looking forward to meeting Jake in the flesh at last.

My car is one of, I think, three cars Jake is expecting there with one of his Type IV engines - Mines a 2270cc C.

Anyone else heading there?

I pimped my ride today, taking in the spirit of vintage racing  so I should be easy to spot (in the multi-marque area).

that is a very nice car. I love the "boxeresque" exhaust! Jake should be proud to have his engine in a car that nice.

Cheers,

The exhaust is a standard BAS 21152 header but with a custom powerflow silencer (single side entry unit tucked under the wing); You'd want to talk to Jake about how restrictive such a system can be.

Some pictures from when I'd just had the exhaust done are at http://www.hambly.org.uk/chesil/phase2_part5.htm#Latest

I like the look of the under dash panel have you till got that plug?if so how much would it cost for you to make me one up?and the webasto heater looks good too what model is the heater as i was looking into doing a eberspacher or simular!Space is the problem in a speedster but you have fitted those in well at the moment i have 2 5" speekers and an alpine active sub in that space under the dash and a pair of 6"*9" speakers in the wells behind the front seats!Good to see a different approach!
Thanks
