I'm deep into the restoration of my 74 standard beetle. I'm building it with the goal of eventually participating in SCCA, Autocross, Hillclimbs, etc. My goal is to have the rolling chassis complete in a few months.
The new rear suspension is finally installed! Highlights include:
Sway-Away Adjustable Spring Plates
Whiteline 18mm Rear Anti-Sway bar
Koni "RED SPECIAL" 5 Way Adjustable Shocks
Urethane Torsion Bar Bushings
Urethane IRS Diagonal Arm Bushings
New German Rear Axle Bearings and Seals
New Stainless steel and/or grade 8.8 hardware
Eastwood Rust Encapsulator Chassis Basecoat
Rustoleum Gloss Black Chassis Topcoat

Koni's
Yeah I'm installing the KONI "RED SPECIAL" 5-setting Adjustable shocks front and rear.
I had to special order the KONI's and they took 3 months!
Thanks for the nice comments....I'm very SLOW but I try to do it right!
