I aquired a DTM for the motor I'm building. I'm running CB's Super Race Case with 94 b pistons and .040 barrel and .040 head shims. According the specs on the website I can have up to 1/4 inch on each side of the motor. I think I'm within those parameters. But the problem I'm having is that I'm using Super Flo heads and I can see that the intake area will need modified. That's OK with me, But it also looks like the shroud might not fit completely over the heads after modification. I would hate to cut the intakes out and it not fit then not be able to return them because the shroud was cut. Has anyone put a DTM on a type 1 with this amount of shims and with Super Flo Heads. Any input or pics or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Sure it will work and the intake area is easy to modify. Getting the shroud to "fit" won't be as easy because it wasn't ceveloped to be used with those parts.

Shrouds are not returnable after purchase, even if they are not cut- all our sales are final. One of my resellers might not have this policy, but its true for those that purchase the unit from us.
