OFFICIAL Aircooled Road Racers Decals Now Available!!

Post by Southernbug »

Its official! The members have voted and the new ARR Aircooled Road Racers logo has been chosen. This is the logo we will use on our official club decals, T-Shirts, Jackets, etc. Thanks to everyone for the great feedback.

We put in the extra effort to draw the logo using Adobe Illustrator so that professional quality artwork can be easily reproduced.

Professional quality decals will be available in 2 to 3 weeks. The first batch of decals will be 6" by 2.5". I will post details on the decals in a few days.

NOTE: The logo picture shown below is only a JPG file. The actual Adobe Vector file we will use for decals and T Shirts is of MUCH higher quality.

And the winner is!!!!!

So Doc, how many can we put you down for?
Shane, that rocks. We all appreciate the time you are putting in with the new addition. I know your time is short & precious. Thought about a back-up coffee pot? I really like the Kona, robust with a mello-ish rail. Not quite tingle-head, but it sure keeps the eyes open.

I love the logo, and look forward to putting a "real" set on my car.

Are you sure you dont want to put some kind of web addy or contact info on it so folks can find us to join?

No Web address for now. That stuff is too subject to change. What I will try to do very soon is get "Aircooled Road Racers" listed on Google and the other major search engines. That would direct inquiries our way easily. If we design a dedicated website then we could consider adding it. For now we decided to just keep it simple and clean.

Shane's passed the baton due to domestic obligations & precious limited time. I have the Vector file & am shopping for a printer. I've talked to several and so far the best I've got is a 250 minimum for $300 bucks. I don't know much about the printing business but what seems to be a typical spec is...
2.5" x 6" oval
4 mil vinyl
two color on a white base
If anybody has any leads or knows anybody, I'll be happy to finish the legwork & front the first purchase. I'll receive them & dole them at a break-even price. Thanks.

BUMP

The best price I have is $290 for 125 stickers. If you know of better, let me know quick. If you say go ahead, that's ok too, but I would appreciate a bunch being taken off my hands soon.
Thanks.

Boy, nothing is "cheap" anymore  So, you are looking at $2.32/sticker COST...plus shipping costs. Maybe you should see how many people want on this board to get an idea. I will buy 4 for now...only 286 to go :D I guess it's better than the $300. price you metioned above.
Anyways, hopefully people will chime in and tell you how many they will want...I have a feeling it will be hard to find 290 people...but hopefully I'm wrong!

Mark

I guess I should ask what you were thinking of selling them at?

COST. Only. Nothing more.
Mark, I'm in this for the sport, not any potential profit. Now if you need a pro driver, I could adjust.

What I really need now is a good lead (pn: leed).

Hi Oz,

In my free time (between baby feedings!) I'm searching as well for a source. Thanks for all the hard work.
