flasher issues

OK....1970 Squareback. All running lights work - cleaned connections, new bulbs, etc. front running lights and park lights, headlights, taillights and brake lights, interior light, dash lights.

BUT no signals or hazard lights. I believe this is the flasher (after eliminating the other relays!)



There are 4 connectors, but only three had wires :

White -- L
Blue -- X
smaller double brown - P

what should go to the other terminal? This non-connected terminal is different as the attaching lug is outside the base, rather than just a protruding terminal.

Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Looking at the rust around the egdes of the relay I would bet that it got wet. Common problem. I would replace the relay. They are cheap.
Also if the blinkers work but the flashers do not...check the switch itself. Ray
