Anyone ever use Zero Rust.. I have a gallon and wanted to ensure i"m not making a mistake using it on the underside of our car.

i've used it a few times. once to seal my trailer before putting real paint on it, and i sprayed my wheels with it. its cheap, it stays on, no real complaints about it.

zero rust is awesome! As long as the surface your putting it on has enough bite, aka use some high grit samd paper on it or use it on really rusty metal. Ive used it on a few pans and one of which sat out in the weather for 2 years with standing water in it

The zero rust only started rusting where I had to re-wirebrush but forgot to sand before painting it

Its good stuff, but if your ordering more, order it straight from the manufacturer, JCwhiteney has priced it WAY up over the years......

Where do you buy yours (if it's not JCW)

yes, on my trailer, it was REAL rusty, i knocked the heavy stuff off, then sprayed it it with zero rust, let it dry like a week, scuffed it, then shot the whole thing with Imron, worked great. i screwed up somewhere and it took like 5 days to totally dry, but its rock hard now.

painted my paddle wheels this weekend. found out that if you thin the paint more, it will lay down real smooth. here is the freshly painted wheel(still wet, thats why its so shiny) compared to my beaten hard wheel that i painted over a year ago
