I have some pics of a 412, 915 and G50 pics. Last two also opened up for if anyone is interested in these?

anyone fitted or seen a renault zf four speed in a manx/baja i'm wanting to do the swap but would like more informed opinions about what's required etc[/img]

Subaru 5MT gearbox fitted into type 1 VW pan. Subaru gearbox fitted with reversed ring and pinion to allow fitting in rear engined cars.

any one have info of 091 into 70 ghia? can it be done without cuting or welding?

Better late than never.

The tranny I'm using is a ZF 4 DS-18 (Renault truck 4 speed that aparently started life in the BMW M1). Gear ratios are a bit short even with 31" rubber. It fits without cutting torsions, and a kombi bell housing adapted relatively easily by making an adapter plate.

ok, more Renault. UN1 transmission(renault 25 V6)Transporter bell house with aluminium adapter. Beetle main drive shaft with steel adapter bushing.

boxertje hej do you have more photo with renault boxes in vw beetle? what about rear suspension?
