Adjusting HVLP gun

I have an el-cheapo HVLP gun which I bought to spray epoxy primer. The instructions only cover adjusting the fan and fluid controls, not the air adjustment on the bottom of the handle. (On my gun this is an allen key adjustment, not an adjustment knob). What is the correct way to make this adjustment?

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a pressure guage?

Yes, I've got one mounted right before the gun.

On all my guns at work I have another valve attached to the bottom of the gun to adjust air pressure. Ideally you would want a Psi gauge for proper adjustment.
