Chicago area - Show and Swap meet on Sunday August 26th

If anyone is interested, one of the clubs that I belong to (Harsh Winters VW Club) is hosting a show and swap meet this Sunday in Plainfield, IL.

Bug-A-Palooza is the Premier VW show in Northern Illinois and we are proud to be the hosts.
We have attendees from all over the Midwest and last year we had almost 100 cars attend! We are hoping for a bigger turnout this year!

The 2007 event is being held on Sunday, August 26th at Pom Pom's All American Bar & Grill, RT 30, Plainfield, IL. This will be our second year here and we are very excited to be here again.

Some details:

Open to ALL VW's
Registration: 9:00 a.m. - Noon.
Awards at 3:00 p.m.
$10.00 registration, $20.00 for a swap space.
Swap meet
participant judged car show
games for kids & adults
Bar & Grill for great food
Paint-A-Bug
Bouncer thing for the kids
pie eating contest
