Event 7&8
We had our last event this past weekend. It was a two day (each counted seperate). Both days were fairly cold, but we didn't get rained on either day. Sat there were only 2 of us in EP and 70 total entries. I won EP and had 14th fastest time total. Sun there were 4 in EP 65 total. I won EP and was 15th fastest for the day. Not a bad year, I made 6 of the 8 events(missed 1 while on vacation and 1 for family issues) and managed to win all of them. Going to be a long winter, we start in April. Maybe I can finally get the race car done?

Heres a U tube link for a buddy of mine on SAT. He is driving a Rabbit truck, you wouldn't think it would handle as well as it does. He also runs in EP and does well . http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEiqBpgCTSw

I finally did an event like yours. We ran a different venue this past Sunday. Instead of a big rectangular parking lot, we were on an actual race course. Roebling Road. Owned by SCCA. They set up the course as a bunch of different slaloms attatched end to end while utilizing a chicane (sp?) that is part of the actual race track. I finally hit third gear and passes took close to a minute. Our SCCA region (Buccaneer) is divided between North (Savannah) and South (J'ville) and this was our annual "N vs. S" meet. Quite crowded. We ran three run groups and everybody got 4 runs. This was so different than our usual tight twisty course. Open 'er up & get some speed! What a blast. I'll update whenever results are posted.
