the wide five lug pattern that Diamond racing offers-is it vw wide five or old ford wide five?

I believe MRT used to have the VW wide-5 pattern... I don't see it on their site now, but it might be worth a phone call if you're still trying to find something. Diamond isn't the only place making steel racing wheels.

Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.
