Here is my problem.

i have a droped spindles +disk brakes which is enough for the height i want to my beetle..

as i had to change and axle beam (the other was bend) decide to buy an adjustable beam for lowering... (cip1)

for the time i dont want to drope more my beetle...

cip1 told me that the adjusters should be in upper possition in order to have the stock height ....

i try to place the adjuster to upper beam to the top but cant go any farther than the middle ... (the bracket where the rubber goes..dont leave it go upper)

and here is the adjuster at the bottom beam... this one can be placed to the top possition without problem ..






any solution - advices about that???

if there is no solution to place the upper adjuster to the top possition.. then should place and the adjuster of bottom beam to the same possition as the first one??
the adjusters should be always be in the same possition (both in the middle , both on top etc... )



will wait for your help as i want to finish my project and this hold me down

Is it the slot in the beam, or is something in the way?

It looks like the top is as far as it will go since it is sitting on the stop/limiter.

I can't remember if there is any preload between the top and bottom or they should be even. Anyone?

I say bolt up the king/link pin assembly and give it a bounce with out shocks to see if it travels completely and also if it sits at the correct height.

When you are finished I would put some thread locker on the adjuster nuts since I see there is not much thread available for the top nut and you do not want this to loosen up on the road.
