duct tape

Post by BUILDER »

use wax and grease remover or enamel reducer. another is goo-gone. if you use enamel reducer be sure not to soak it on the paint and have a dry rag to wipe it off with. I do this all the time at the body shop i work at.

Goo Gone rocks, I picked up a bus one time that was entirely covered in duct tape...
Addendum to Newtons first law:
zero vehicles on jackstands, square gets a fresh 090 and 1911, cabby gets a blower.
EZ3.6 Vanagon after that.(mounted, needs everything finished) then Creamsicle.

Anything with dLimonene will remove adhesive and not rip apart your paint.

Test in an out of the way place..

most solvents can attack your paint.

3m makes a "foam" grinding wheel you can chuck in a high speed drill. It removes decals, pinstrips, glue...lol. It won't harm the paint and I always thought it was kinda neat to use. Most Paint supply Stores should carry them and they are'nt that much.
