Camber Compensator

Post by beetlecharles »

I was wondering if anyone had had any experience using a camber compensator on a '67> swing axle Beetle equipped with a factory Z bar.

Two designs are available as below:

I would like to know which would be best suited to my application of a '72 1300 Beetle on which I want to retain the Z bar? Do either of the above foul on the Z bar cups which are attached to the axles?

Thanks. :D

Its a UK spec car BTW hence being a '72 model but still having swing axle rear suspension.

Anyone?

Even just a photo of a CB performance compensator fitted to someones car would be a great help.

Thanks.

My '67 has a camber compensator, but the Z-bar is removed. It went from handling so poorly I was afraid to turn the wheel to being planted.
