What am I missing? Looks like you can buy whole set up new from ad in Sep. '02 Hot VW (Pacific Customs) for $552 + shipping. Why are these worth $1000. Not a shot, just wondering.

the ads you see are for IDFs, and those are 40 and 44s at that (incomplete kits too). he's selling idAs, a way different carb, and worth $1k/pair.
