if you could build it, what would you do?

im testing the waters to see whats available in the type 5 market, I've got a whole lot of parts and not sure which way to go. at this point it could go either way!

EFI, twin plugs per cyl, to start with.

I building it right now! I paid Joe Schubeck for a set of lifters in 2006, but I am thinking that some minor detail is holding back progress.

Well I had a dream once, 2 liters, no sump, IDF webers, 1 1/2 heater boxes, medium cam, quality big 040s, your nothing special 100+hp daily driver.

Today my reality is a recycled 1600 single port, oil bath, points, fweeping muffler and 50hp. I am hoping for some sort of brain damage that will make me think this is cool.
