That is funny right there. the engine hangs out like a tumor. :D
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

That car really needed that kind of engine. Here's a pic of it nect to mt 69 RHD suicide-doored jalopy back when Matt had it.

That's a cool picture. Do you still have your Bug? Do you still see Matt? I've tried to send a picture of it to his old email and it came back saying undeliverable. I also put a Rancho Transaxle ( Pro-comp Plus with shortened sway-away axles) in it. I have some videos of the car at the track on here and on youtube under ( chancs beetle). That picture wasn't long before I bought it according to the photo date. It has takin awhile but I think I have the car pretty much finished as far as I want to go with it. Thanks for sharing the Photo and if you still see Matt tell him she's been well takin care of for me. 8) P.S. I still have the wing-hood but it doesn't fit over the Turbo.

I sold the 69 RHD suicide-doored jalopy about the same time Matt sold the chopped drag bug. It stayed local and last I heard is all apart to be redone but has been sitting a while. Yeah, I still see Matt, he lives a few miles from me. He currently has a sweet 68 Ghia and is working on a ratty DC.

I'm working on my own chop top now.

You said you were thinking about selling your car, are you still thinking about it?

Thanks, It is a 63 body on a 68 pan. It is for sale but I'm not in any rush to sell it unless I get a good offer. I have about $18,000 in it just in parts and I'd take $15,000 for it.
