Hula Girls
Let's see them mounted in your Thing. I bet DannyK has one.
Hot, humid air is less dense than cooler, drier air. This can allow a golf ball to fly through the air with greater ease, as there won't be as much resistance on the ball.

Actually I have been looking for a Hula Girl for my Thing. I used to have one in my truck, but she disappeared. Roxy currently has a Blue Hawaian Lei though, if that counts.
