SoCal Bajas "Thing-A-Thon" Landers Run: Sat Feb20

... So a few of the Thing owners in the SoCal Bajas group got together and decided that they'd lead our off-road run in February. Since we had so much preliminary involvement, we thought we'd give the Thing guys their day in the spotlight. We're inviting all the Thing owners in Southern California to come out and enjoy a day in the dirt with us on February 20th just outside of Landers, which is east of Big bear and North of Yucca Valley.

It will be a full day with a great bunch of people. People will be driving in from all over Southern California, and as far as San Francisco, and probably even Nevada. We'll be doing mostly easy dirt roads and trails, but there will probably be some parts that will challenge your driving skills. We work together as a group. If someone breaks down, we all pitch in and help that guy get back up and running. Skid plates are recommended, but not required. The same goes for CB radios. We are a family-oriented group, and for the safety of all, we ask that drugs and alcohol be kept away from our runs.

Other than that, you can check out the website for details and pictures as to how we do things. I know, I know. It needs to be updated with the latest and runs, and I'll get to that soon.

We do a run every month, but I think this one will be a special one.
