This is a 1955 sedan on original pan that was built to be a monster street or road race car. It has a Clean California title and has a black license plate and was current on its tag until I bought it, at which time it was put on a "non-op". Allot of thought, blood, sweat and tears went into it. So where to begin.

We'll start with the body:
All the fenders are fiberglass. Fronts are 1.5" wider and rears are 3" wider. Rear fenders are fastened with Dzus tabs for easy removal. The rear apron is also fiberglass and is Dzus tabbed to the rear fenders. The shell has been modified around the rear quarter windows so that they sit in the body about a inch in the rear making to scoops in the body that feed an air box in the back. The Hood is 3 prong Wolfsburg, and has the rear W-decklid. The tail lights are Blood Reds. The body had been media blasted, had body work done and has a thick layer of Green primer layed on it. Blood red lens are cracked and housings are bare metal, but in fair shape. Head lights have 911 style Bosch lens. Semiphores are Koch reconditioned, so are like new. Both doors are 55' correct ribbed and have lexan windows, but original glass is included. All other body glass is in great condition as is the window rubber. Body molding is Stainless Split window style. Has repro door handles. Running boards are quality units with Green rubber. There are no bumpers and no wiper assembly.

Interior:
There are no seats, originally had racing seats but were kept by builder. There are no door panels and no rear seat. Dash is not finish primered and has "most" all the parts: speedo, speaker grill, ash tray, headlight and wiper switch, glove box door, stereo block off plate. Does not have an ignition switch. In order to get the car running It had been wired so that the headlight switch turned on the power and it has a Split window starter button. Also has Stewart Warner "Maximum Performace" silver gauges, Oil pressure, Oil temp, Boost and a Tach w/ recall and LED shift light. Has correct steering wheel in fair shape, and is removable via quick disconnect hub. Old school Hurst shifter. Full roll cage, ties into frame horns and front suspension but body can still be removed from pan. Rear luggage compartment is now an air box that currently has a radiator in it and is fed by the scoops in the body. Back seat area is now a full wheel tub. On the rear tub there is a Meth/injection system. The pan has been smoothed, no E-brake hole or heater control hole. Car does not have a full wiring harness, to make it a fully functional driver it would need one for all the lighting and turn signals.

Suspension: Here's were is gets fun.
Front suspension is Super Beetle. Bulk head was cut off replaced with a super Beetle bulk head. Front spindle are a combination of Super Beetle lowers with Rabbit upper using RX-7 camber plates attached to the cage. Coil overs are Carrera adjustables. Steering is done by a Super beetle convertible Rack and Pinon. Front brakes are C5 Z06 Corvette on drilled and slotted rotors. Front wheels are C5 Corvette 17' 5 spokes that were narrowed to 7.5" wide rapped in a 225/40R17 Nitto's.
Rear suspension is narrowed 3" and has been converted to IRS. Rear is also using Carrera adjustable coilovers and attach to cage. Rear trailing arms have been gusseted for strength. Stub axles are 924 Porsche using Type 2 CV joints. Rear brakes are also C5 Z06 Corvette on drilled and slotted rotors. Rear wheels are 18" C5 Corvette rapped in 285/35R18 Nitto's.
ARP 7/16" wheel studs front and rear. All suspension, front and rear, is powdercoated in either black, silver or red. Pan is powdercoated black.
Front and rear brakes are fed by Wilwood swing downs. There is also a Wilwood swing down for the hydralic clutch. All flexible brake lines are steel braided. Front and rear sway bars.

Under Hood:
Doesn't have original gas tank. It has a larger capacity tank modified to clear Wilwood pedal assembly. Inside tank is an intank fuel pump feeding a fuel accumulator that then feeds a high volume Bosch fuel injection pump. There is also a tank for water/meth mounted to cage. Hood also has gas shocks instead of springs.

Under deck lid:
Allot of the sheet metal has been removed for more room, ease of maintanence and adjustability. (There has been a Turbo 3.0 Type 4 and a Turbo EJ25 Subaru engine in there). There is no motor included.

Transmission:
The pan is setup for a solid mounted Type 1 tranny with a weld in midmount. There is a CNC hydralic slave cylinder for clutch. Currently there is no transmission in car, but comes with 2 transmissions. A Type 1 and a 094 sideshift (which is what was going in next). Both trannys are dissasembled.
1) Type 1 tranny has a SB mainshaft, corse welded 3/4 and superdiff.
2) 094......Stock gear stack is massive. Comes with Brand New Weddle 3/4 gear.

Super solid foundation for a bad ass bug.

There is so much with this car, I know I have forgotten some of it.
