Has anyone used Seafoam to clean injectors or the fuel system?
There are a lot of good reviews for it on Amazon.com.
TIA!

I tried sea-foam vs. berrymans once in a very unscientific test, split some grungy parts put in two containers, allowed to soak and then sloshed around/rinsed...

Everything came clean.
The berrymans took off the paint as well.

Berrymans B12 costs ~1/4 as much. Your call.

Yes...its hard to beat Berrymans B-12. The chemistry alone is superior. For a fuel system cleaner I have never seen what anyone see's in Seafoam. Its basically paint thinner. It will help remove carbon when poured into a running engine...but then again so will water.

Water injection = steam cleaning

Not many people realise it, can't wait till its time to strip my old 1200 I've water injected so I can see my spotless chambers ;)

I didn't want to be off topic since this is an aircooled VW forum but, this was concerning a 1987 F150 pickup sputtering and being hard to start.
Previously I was driving it home one day and it was sputtering really bad and almost died.
I removed the fuel filter to replace it and what looked like liquid mud came out of the old filter.
After changing the fuel filter it ran a lot better but was hard to start when cold outside and would sputter occasionally. If I let off the gas a little and gradually press on the gas pedal it would run smoothly again.

I put one can of Chemtool in each gas tank.
The next day it was running smoothly and easier to start.
Thanks all!
