cast or forged 94mm pistons and why?

Hi all im building a 2054cc engine for my beetle I all ready have a case, crank, cam, follower, carbs and so on but I do still need some 94mm pistons but do I go with cast or forged ? The engine will have power from idle to 6500rpm but I will be fitting a limiter on it set at 6000rpm if you need to know that.
