Carb help please

im running dual 44 idf on my 1914 with 3.5 fuel pressure now if im running to rich on my mixture will i get an acidy fuel smell from my exhuast ? no i havnt cheked the jetting yet i will have to do more research on that as i am new to tuning dual carbs and have never run webber 44 carbs before.

If the exhaust fumes sting your eyes, & there's no visible smoke,your jetting is probably lean.

yes it does sting the eyes .so would i have to go up a jet size or can i just adjust the mixture( oh and no smoke at all )?

turn the idle mixture screws out 1 full turn & note any differences.

thanks for the info will to lean make me run a little hot say 200 in heavy traffic
