How narrow beam I need?
I´m building a bug for my customer. It´s 70´s bug but he wants to use eralier wings, hood and bonnet + 4x disk brakes + some porsche wheels. My idea is to narrow the beam but I don´t knwo how much do U usually do that. How much can it be done before first problems and what are they?

You have to decide on exactly what wheels you want.
Then the brakes. Both of those dictate where the wheel will land compared to the outer lip of the fender.
One big problem is bump steer. The stock suspension has it pretty bad compared to a lot of cars due to the short left tie rod. When you narrow the beam, the tie rod gets shorter, making a bad problem worse.
