So, I bought a 2002 Legacy wagon with 200,000 miles. I was planning on using the engine in its present condition and mileage to 'shake down' the installation into my ghia and then rebuild it. It's a EJ251
Upon closer inspection there are 2 stickers down on the crankcase which read:
444396 and TZ1A4CDBA-RM
Could the "RM" designation indicate a re-manufactured factory shortblock?
