I just completed reassembling my 1968cc stroker after having it apart to do some maintenance. I'm running Weber 44idf's (duals) and had a strange issue arise today after syncing the carb. I can get it to idle great but after revving a couple times, after the throttle is closed, the engine begins to rev at around 2000rpm by itself (throttle closed.) What can cause these symptoms?
I had an issue with a clogged accelerator pump nozzle from sitting so cleared that, but now I wonder if the check valve could be failing causing the accelerator pump to stay on. Curious if anyone has had similar experiences.

Re: Weber IDF - Self Revving
Typically that's caused by a vacuum leak either under the carbs or at the heads
