CSP extended length pushrod tubes

Post by rioprelude »

Have you guys seen these yet? CNC machined solid aluminum T4 pushrod tubes in normal(209mm) and extended(209/214.5/220mm) length. Supposed to provide extra clearance, and should eliminate pushrod tube spacers in some cases.

My favorite part of these things is the little ‘removal ring’ for you to pry against.

Genius!

I’m still lost as to how you are supposed to remove stock pushrod tubes without messing them up..!

I use a pair of snap ring pliers to grip inside and pull them out

I have these in standard length and can confirm they are good quality (just fitted them recently). Still got an issue with a couple leaking at the head end depsite using the viton green seals (came with the tubes) and taking great care, will be sorting this out.

Only observation, they are billet so a bit thicker walled than the standard tin ones. Got a bit tight on my merger headers, only slightly so fettled the header to suit ever so slightly.

The CSP tubes are reduced in diameter at the exhaust ports BTW.
