I picked up a 1915 turbo a while back, it had a side draft but the carb was bad so the PO switched to Holley 390. After talking to some people they told me to boost reference the carb so we did that.
When I got the engine it had a 009, I switched to CB electronic and MSD Digital 6 plus because that's what was in my car...
We got the car to run but it needs some tuning.
My questions are
Spark plug gap we're at .025 I read the MSD can handle larger gaps in turbos. Do I leave it or increase?
Timing is at 24 degrees total. And distributor is unlocked.

I would think the gap is fine. There were 2 things that really helped me when I was drawthrough. First being a wideband O2 sensor. I would call that a must. Otherwise your just guessing....and your probably WRONG! Couple of us are using the PLX with success. Second was a Percy's adjust a jet. Let's you adjust on the fly without pulling the carb apart. For me, I had to have a huge accelerator pump shot to keep it from stumbling too. Way bigger than I ever expected to have.

I had a 50 on mine. Not saying you will need it, but I did. What's nice is there are parts on every corner for the Holley
