I am finished building and testing my 2533 with 40drla carbs and now the time to feel it’s real power . I am between 45drla carbs and 48drla carbs . What would you suggest ?
Engine has 103mm cylinders
76mm crank
86b webcam
Porsche 914 2.0l heads with 44-36 valves
10-1 compression

I guess the most important thing is, how your heads flow. Are they ported at all? Anything with a 36mm venturi should supply enough for an unported set. Now if you have some serious headwork, maybe the 45s are best with a 40mm venturi.
