I got my engine mapped last year on the dyno and found a few issue (boostleak) that limited the boost. I fixed them over the winter. now i'm going to get on the dyno again and got a questions from the tuner; "what is your target boostlevel?"

the engine:
2332cc, forged CB crank, Mahle pistons and cylinders, CB's H-beam rodswith ARP bolts. FK-46 cam, CBs SuperMags heads, 10:1 comp, Interccoler (8"x8" and 5" thick), running E85.

Im hoping to hit 22psi, would you think thats is possible? or will this be to much for my motor? of course there can always be issures that breaks stuff but in general would it be able to handle it?

I would say yes it possible. What turbo are you running? Is the compressor in its efficiency range or just blowing hot air at that point?

22 psi and 10:1 compression sounds scary to me.

Dave Kawell found the limit for them Mahle's ,, but I forgot what it was
yea 10;1 with E85 my son's Honda runs high boost & E85 too ,, he mixes his own fuel , gets the alkohol from a 'Brewery' he sez it's more consistent

Im running a T3/T4 so it should be at or just past its limits with that boost level according to the compressor map.
