Just saw this "Beetle Buggy" body for sale. I have the same style body and using it on the sand so (I suspect) the shortening dimension of the pan is the usual 14 1/2" giving it an 80" wheel base.

Shortened pan that might fit the previous post body. It says shortened 14.25". It is a BJ front end and swing axle rear so somewhere between 1965 and 1967 I think.

A buggy body (at the front and rear mounting flanges would have to be measured but the dimensions for the short wheelbase bodies are often setup for a 14.50 reduction in pan length (a few bodies require shorter pan length while some bodies use anywhere up to full length pans). The rest of the accouterments here are priced separately.

The pan is located in Tacoma WA while the body is from the Troutdale area near Portland OR.

Another buggy came up today from Forks WA which is on WA's Olympic Peninsula. A non-runner but seems to have enough parts for at least a good start. No-title though.

It does have paddles and side bars crash bars which are a good thing and maybe it has a commercial body lift on the pan based by looking at the pix but not sure if that is true.
