User Name Update

Greetings all

After quite some time and a major snafu(caused by me) I've finally managed to log back into the site. Appearantly trying to update your email address AND your password at the same time is a bad idea. I just happened to look through my user CP and realized my email address was from when I was an admin on the SuperBeetles Only! website, which no longer exists, and my password was a very simple word from back when we all didn't realize we'd need to protect our accounts as much as possible

So now my user name is actually different than before. It had been H2OSB as in "water Super Beetle", now it is H2, the number zero, and SB. Just to make it appear like my original. Please update your friends list if I'm on it. Guys like Piledriver and Clatter I've PMd many many times over the years. It's a bummer to lose my "status" since I've been a member on this site since 2003, but it can't be helped

You may want to contact the owner of the site - I had a similar problem and Doc fixed it right up when I sent an email.

I've sent multiple emails and contacted Clatter though the Samba to speak on my behalf. I think Doc did things, but I do not receive the activation emails. I tried many times and waited days, checking both inbox and spam folder, but I simply do not receive the activation email.

Unfortunately, this seems to be my only recourse. At least I can sign in now. I was off for a month, and I've checked STF daily for many year...it sucked.

Perhaps one day I can work with Doc to restore my account, but for now, this works.

Wow, I cannot say enough about AdminSteve. I'd give him more than 2 up if I had more thumbs.

He got in and straightened everything with my account out (well, as much as could be straightened...unfortunately all my history with the site was lost. But, that's in the past ). In my original post, I stated my new name was H20SB. Well, scratch that, it's back to H2OSB.

I think the baton pass from Doc to AdminSteve was a good one. I've been on this site since the start and look forward to many more years of excellent info sharing about our beloved hobby.

I would love to receive a few PMs in order to rebuild my friends list.
