Wide band O2

Is there a sticky or a thread that explains what wide band to get and the best way to use it?

It's sorta like peanuts... some like them salty, some like sweet, some like both at the same time, and a few have to go to the emergency room if they even get too close to them.

I like the CAN flavor of WB02s as there is no analog offset to worry about. The Spartan3s work very well with any ECU that supports CAN, and the price/performance ratio is very high, also available with LSU4.9 sensors that have essentially full AFR range 10:1-free air (almost), useful if you are a diesel tuner for example.

On MS2E and MS3 it works beautifully.

I still use the JAW 1.3 I picked up used for $25...
Totally fixable if you blow it up (had a voltage regulator fry and full field alternator at 75 MPH, blew every bulb that was on in the car and a trace on the WBO2 controller, took 30 seconds to fix)
...and very, very fast response, as in can see a single event misfire.(random skipped injections due to some buggy early MS2E sequential firmware)

Innovate had huge quality issues with their units for a long time, but as they are still in business I will dangerously assume they fixed that. (Might want to research that some too)

Thanks for the reply. I guess I should have included that I'm running dual dell 45s and just want the wide band to help with jetting.

Mr. To sells an all-in-one, analog outs and just displays as well.
Used to sell a DIY $30 kit as well, readout and all, buy your own sensor..
May still do something similar.

Biggest downside is he's in Canada and you may get your parts in 3 days or 3 weeks depending on the various post offices mood as well as customs.

14point7.com never replied to my request to buy his stuff. I ended up going with this. Along with a 123 distributor it made jetting and tuning the dual 45s easy. I think before I got this setup, I was running way rich.

I've a Spartan 3 that is wired into my Ghia( Speeduino) , it's a pain to remove it when I want to use the wide band to check on my bus (DRLA's) ,so I just bought this . great value for money . easy to solder the connectors to the board .
