i just purchased a 78 bus 2.0 litre w/o heads
i want to know if i have to use 2.0 litre haeds or can i use 1.8.
i also have a home made shroud and cylinder cover that a friend made. soon i'll have a dtm shroud!!!!

You can use the 1.8 liter heads on your 2.0 liter engine. The 1.8 heads actually have larger valves than the 2.0 heads. The 1.8 heads came with 39x34 valves and the 2.0 heads came with 37x33 valves. The 1.8 heads are a popular performance upgrade for the T4 engine because of the larger valves.

1700/ 39.5 mm
1800/ 41.0 mm
2000/ 37.0 mm
