Is putting a splitty westy on a syncro vanagon chassis with a 3.3 Subaru flat six - and maybe a couple of turbos count as a new idea?

Not doing it, just figure it's the only solution to wife's love of spitties and my desire to tow a bug with it.

as long as it's slow, might as well daydream Image

Yeah, I thought the same thing. I surf in here (and the type4um) every once and awhile to see going on.

yah, it has been kind of slow... I still check in everyday though for new comments.

I am planning on picking up a '74 Westi this month... I am sure more questions will come when I have that project in hand. * I do not know much about those new fangled bay window busses Image
