I am going to put a set of disc brakes on my bus. Will the calapers clear the 14 inch stock wheels. If I go with 15 inch will I be able to use 5 1/2 inch wide wheels with the adapters. Narrow 5 to wide 5 I wish to maintain a stock look. Also are there any other problems I will run into,

What brake conversion? No details provides no correct answer.

The CSP products can be purchased though CB Performance... But I did not see a kit for busses out there..?

From what I gather you want to use the 2615107B Wolfgang kit to change your front brakes to the baywindow brakes and then use an adaptor to change from the narrow baywindow 5 to the early wide 5.

The kit does not support 14" wheels with the adaptors though, so you must run 15"s.

Seems reasonable to me.

Granted you could just get the wide five brake conversion kit from Rocky Mountain Motor Works (I am sure others sell the same kit cheaper). Might save a few dollars and might not need the adaptors or 15" wheels?

I am going for the Porsche 911 brake kit for the early bus from Old Speed... Then again I am in the process of getting a set of Fuchs for the bus too which helps if you have a set. Seems that I can get the rear drums drilled and studded for the Porsche pattern from Old Speed as well, might look into a 944 rear end swap in the distant future.

I've seen the kits that Wolfgang sells and they are nice. You could even do a ball joint beam conversion and run their 5-5 adapters? Just an idea.
