Disc Brakes?

Is there any way to install disc brakes on my 68 single cab and keep the wide five wheels?

Yes. But it is an expensive kit. Check with the usual suspects like Bus Boys, Wolfgang Int, Old Speed and such.

I think Bugly from Washington runs the Rocky Mntn front and rear on his 1/4 miler bus.
