Single Cab Headliner question

Post by Vgonman »

I am putting a headliner in my 1970 SC, and the PO had removed it long ago and saved the bows. I currently have the rear part in, and the bows taught. Now, do i glue the front and install the windshield before doing the sides, or do the sides, glue the front, then install the windshield? It is so small, unlike a bug, that I am not sure what is the easiest way to proceed.

Single Cab Headliner question

I'd say to put the headliner in first, then put the windows in. As long as you use those little black clips to hold it in place, it should stay where you glue it. But I'm no expert on the subject! I did the headline in my 78 and it looks decent, but it was much more difficult than a bug... a single cab should be pretty easy!
