Hi, What is a 915 trans? Of the eariler 911 trans can it be easly adapted to a Super Beetle body? Also this past weekend I was at Barnes and Noble book store and happened across a 911 book. This book had a Quaife diff for a 911 trans, it did not say Quafe but you can tell it was a Quaife. So this leads me a raise this question. Can a Quaife Super Diff be modified to fit a 091 trans? Has anyone done it?

915 Trans?
The 915 installs similarly to a 901 I believe. Except you can't adapt rear rubber beetle mounts to the bell housing, is this right?
The Quaife for the 901 is just that.
Quaife for beelte swings is just that, Quaife for beetle IRS is also just that.
None available for the 091 bus trans as you questioned. ZF diffs are available for the bus 091 though. Also for T1 and 901 for that matter.

915 Trans?
The 915 transmission is the third type of gearbox which was used in the 911's.
First was the 901, then the 911/01 and the 915.
The 901 and 911/01 transmission come with a dogleg first gear. The 915 has the stock shifting pattern with 5th on the dogleg to the right. The G50 came next but it is way too big for the Beelte although it has just been fitted to a bug in Britain but the amount of modification needed to use it is huge! It is also very very heavy.
There were 3 different 915 transmissions. The first and second suffered from oil starvation over 5th gear so after your long cruise(2 hours) at 150mph (!), you would not be able to shift out of gear as it has welded 5th gear to the mainshaft! This is not gonna happen though unless you run more than 230bhp and race it on the track. The later 915 came with a oil pump and an oil cooler to cure this problem.
You can mount the 915 trans in the Beetle chassis in the same way as the 901 and 911/01 trans. But you will need to either build up more ally around the bellhousing for the rear mounts, solid mount it or forget the rear mounts altogether.
If you want anymore info on this, email me.
