Where the heck in North America do you get the main bearings for the waterboxer crankshaft??
I'm running out of patience for this good crank.

This question came up in a discussion of oxyboxer engines, I think asked by Steve Arndt and answered not by Marco (the Steem Engine), but someone else. There was a North American source. The search function isn't working right now, but when it comes back search the archives and you'll find it.

Try busdepot.com or bostonengine.com. Bus Depot carries most parts for the Vanagon, and Boston Bob has even gotten me mains for a line bored case.

Is it possible to mix-n-match T4 and T1 bearings to make up a set? I have several sets of std/crank 050/case and 025/crank 050/case T4 mains. All Std thrust.
My understanding is that the Thrust bearings from T4 and balance from T1 sets will do...
