what are the alternatives from other suppliers for Engle W 100 or W 110 cams? Is it clever to use these in almost stock engine (Kadrons, header, slightly ported)?

Web Cam. Great reputation and they sell their own lifters to go with the cams.

well, as I noticed on STF, Engle has some quality issues. Is it necessary to use web lifters with web cam, or can I use stock ones?

Engle has no quality problems, The W-100 and the W-110 are the best cams out there in that size.

Whatever hipo cam you use, you have to beef your valve train, or you are just asking for problems.

Is it still necessary to strenght my valvetrain if I use Engle W100 cam? Factory valve stroke is 9.00mm on intake and 8,6mm on exhaust (1600 engine). Engle W100 makes 9,9 mm of stroke.

I would always say yes, but some guys will say they never had a problem.

The fact is even with a small cam, like the w-100, you can be floating your valves and not even know it. It will run without the beef, but for how long before you bend a pushrod, pop clips, drop a seat or valve. If you lighten your flywheel things will go snap even faster. Any engine mods must be done as a system, you can't just slip in a cam and expect it to live a long and happy life IMO. Mark

If one part is changed, every single part that works in conjunction with that part must also receive attention..it is called configuration...
