do I have to drill my manifolds or is there a place on the carbs I can get vaccum from. thanks

You need manifold vacuum for power brakes, there's no way to get it or anything close to it (with a sufficient size) from the carbs.
Since Webers don't need or want an equalizer pipe like dual-singles use, I'd get an extra checkvalve from the wrecking yard (also a good source for the extra hose you'll need for cheap - look at Rabbits/Dashers and the like) and tap both manifolds. Run a hose w/checkvalve from each manifold to a tee-piece connected to the main line that goes up front.

Just did it on mine.
Drilled the cylinders 2 and 4 runners about 60mm below the carb flange and set 3/8 barbed nipples in with jb weld.
then rubber elbow, check valve, and a short length of 11/32'' booster hose back into the standard carb booster pipe.
works great, at least as good as stock
