Porsche has used many different brakes over the years. Regardless of the type you want, adapters for both the caliper and the rotors would have to be fabricated($).

Since the Super uses the coil-over-strut design, I would attempt to adapt Porsche 964 ('90-'94 911) front struts (which have excellent Brembo 4-piston calipers) and 911 front rotors and hubs.

Of course your front end would then have the Porsche 5-bolt wheel pattern.

Either way, it'll involve machine work and a significant outlay of cash.

Try looking at: http://www.telemacom.fr/bonekar/VolksWa ... Brakes.htm

and
http://netnow.micron.net/~motodad/vw/brakes.htm

how-to at:

I intend to do this too somewhere down the road, so when you're done I'd be curious to hear how it goes for you.

Heh, cool, a link to my site.
Anyway, the 944 front stuff is a bolt on installation for your 1303. Contact Superman on the superbeetle forum for more info.
