Engine Cooling Tins

I am having a new type 1 1915 engine built for my 74 thing. The builder is having trouble locating German cooling tins in excellent condition in socal (does not surprise me). He has ask if I could provide them if I insisted on 100% German. There should be plenty of old bugs in the north texas area where I live. Since I have never shopped for these parts I need to ask what parts am I looking for? What years type 1 will work? Finally, what is a fair price with these parts? Thanks.
