Are the '68 and '69 doors interchangable either completely or at least
the shell?

WHY YES , THEY ARE .
THE '66 AND EARLIER DOORS ARE DIFFERENT .
THE '68 AND UP DOORS ARE THE SAME .
THE '67 DOORS ARE UNIQUE .
SOME TRIM DIFFERENCES EXIST BUT THE SHELLS WILL INTERCHANGE .
THE COUPE & CONVERTIBLE DOORS ARE THE SAME
EXCEPT FOR THE GLASS .
THE '68 AND UP DOORS ARE THE SAME .
THE '67 DOORS ARE UNIQUE .

The chrome strip across the top of the doors on the outside of the windows is different on the coupes and verts.
