Jeff- Thanks a lot!!! I couldn't remember any free sites that would host my pics and allow them to show up in the forums, yahoo and geocities don't allow it. Anyways, how do you like your 1776? I can't stop looking at your motor picture :P Red MSD set-up looks very cool against the grey engine tin. Nice, clean set-up!! My 1835 is a bad combo, that the previous owner built, and the stock tranny isn't helping that out a bit. I think my summer project is going to be a narrowed/lowered beam to give it a better stance. Sweet looker you got there.......... Best Regards, -Matt

8) Thanks Marc. Yea, I'm pretty happy with the finished product. Now I just need a new motor and a few other go fast goodies...... :D Can't wait to see what it'll run at the strip, looking forward to doing some high rpm drops, and see how long it takes for the stock tranny to give. Maybe I should take a tow vehicle so I don't have drive it home in 3rd? Best Regards, -Matt

Wow, awesome paint! Did you do the prep yourself? That is the only time I have seen cheap paint jobs work out well in the end.

Hey Guys, sorry for the late response, haven't checked the pic gallery forum for a while. I had the car painted at the Maaco off of Florin Road in Sacto. I stripped the car down, and had the pan shot as well. In addition, had a few holes leaded in and total I believe was $1200. Turn-around time was super fast, and I guess it just depends on what painter you get, but they didnt have to shoot around anything because nothing was on it. It was painted last May, went through the summer without any fading, etc. and is a very nice solid job. I was a little skeptical having a place like Maaco paint it, but I'm very happy with the results. Sean (fast57), if your still looking for a place to paint, I'd be more than happy to let you check out the quality of mine. Let me know. Thanks again for all the compliments. Best Regards, -Matt
