fender and hood repair

Sorry for the first posting, i`m pretty much computer illiterate.Now for my question.I have a 77 standard beetle I`m customizing, it`s in damn good shape minus a few small dents and dings.I`ve seen shows where people use body hammers and dollies to straighten fenders and hoods out. Anybody know where I can find a tech article on this or any tips or tricks would be helpful. Thanks
